Sun Xian Wi, Chinese Consul General in Gwangju visited Chonnam National University Hospital (General Director Lee, Sam-Yong) on the 6th. 
On this day, Consul General Sun Xian Wi visited the hospital to inquire about treatment process and supports for foreigners including Chinese in Gwangju regional center hospitals following the recent COVID-19 epidemic and to request for full support in case of any foreign infectees. 
Chonnam National University Hospital welcomed Consul General Sun Xian Wi's group with the Hospital's General Director Lee, Sam-Yong and key executives and explained in detail about the countermeasures against the prevention of the recent COVID-19 as well as the treatment procedures for foreigners. 
Consul General Sun Xian Wi revealed that "I'm honored to personally visit Chonnam National University Hospital equipped with world-class medical competence" and that "As there are concerns of infection because there are relatively high number of Chinese citizens living in this region, I, as a Consul General, feel reassured that there is a world-class Chonnam National University Hospital". 
Following such, the Hospital's General Director Lee, Sam-Yong stated that "Chonnam National University Hospital is striving to prevent the expansion and to put an end to COVID-19 with its prompt and systematic disease prevention system since the breakout of COVID-19" and that "We will do our best to treat our patients, regardless of nationality".
