Chonnam National University Hospital (General Director Lee, Sam-Yong) wished to the elderly patients a speedy recovery by presenting carnations in celebration of Parents' Day on the 8th. 
This event, organized by Chonnam National University Hospital's Nursing Department (Director of Nursing, Shin, Eun-Sook) is being held annually to console hospitalized patients above the age of 70 who aren't able to spend Fathers' Day with their families. 
670 patients, including 450 in Chonnam National University Hospital and 220 in Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital,  received carnation gifts. 
On this day, General Director Lee, Sam-Yong visited the patients hospitalized on the 11th floor of in Ward 11, together with hospital officials including Director of Nursing, Shin Eun-Sook and wished for speedy recovery while personally placing carnations on their clothes. 
Patient A, age 75, stated that he was extremely grateful for the flowers given to hospitalized patients despite how busy the medical team was due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
