There was a temporary slowdown due to the enforcement of the Internal Organs, etc. Transplant Act in 2000, but with the opening of the Organ Transplant Center in 2001, kidney transplantation, liver transplantation, and corneal transplantation have been carried out at an increasing rate to help improve the quality of life in patients experiencing organ failure.
The Organ Transplant Center is also dedicated to promoting information exchange and friendships among organ transplant patients by hosting picnics and year-end parties every year.
